Extreme Sequence is an entertainment platform that brings games, multimedia, desktop, bluetooth and IP Tvplets (applications) to satellite, terrestrial or cable set top boxes. It's an easy to use embedded player thats available on all HyperPanel middlewares, from zappers for low cost recievers up to PVR / DVR.
On a business case basis, we can port Extreme Sequence onto other proprietary or linux based middlewares.
Extreme Sequence Overview
Extreme Sequence includes 3 distinct components:
- A TV player embedded into the receiver.
- A win32 development tool to develop Tvplets.
- A win32 player to try out the Tvplet on a Windows PC.
With Extreme Sequence, a new generation of low cost set top boxes becomes a true TV notebook capable of executing multimedia Tvplets that can be downloaded from the internet:
- From a user's PC, TV viewers browse, download and try out Tvplets from independent or commercial web sites.
- Using a simple USB memory stick, external disk or wireless key, plug and play tvplets on TV.
- Extreme Sequence requires a USB port and works with low cost receivers
The Extreme Sequence website provides individuals or professional developers with free development tools, a library of tvplet source code and templates, along with documentation and training.
